News from my Doll World

Fun with my LOL dolls

I realised that I have collected quite a few LOL surprise dolls. Here they are.

So, of course, I had to build a little space for them. I decided on a boutique – because they are fashionable girls and have quite a few outfits and accessories. There is also a little place to chill and put on make up.

Then there is a toy store – a place to keep all the mini toys.

And a little photo corner for the most fashionable LOL girls.

Her are a few views of the store diorama when full of dolls.

The big sisters usually take care of the toddlers. Sometimes even outside the usual space – this is a very hard job.

Happy New Year

This year we celebrated New Year’s Eve quietly at home without much ado. My girls, on the contrary, dressed very elegantly and enjoyed big parties. Here are some of the outfits.

Big party in Dolliewood.

In Dollietown there was a big outdoor party.

Christmas Dolls

Well, it looks like the Monster High Dolls Gen3 really got me. I would never have thought to like them so much. So here are my Christmas dolls.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning is always a time to relax, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate in front of the fireplace – of course wearing Xmas PJs.

Then the preparations start for the evening. There is usually a big dinner.

Followed by games …

… and story telling.

Some of the girls like to enjoy the beautirful lights outside.

Of course many girls are wearing Xmas sweaters.

Christmas Eve

Finally it’s Christmas Eve. Everything is ready and, like every year, the BJDs that joined the family have prepared a little show.

And we also had fun with a little twinning.

Last Minute Preparations before Xmas Eve

The last few days were very busy in Dollietown. Everyone was getting ready for Xmas – last minute- like in the human world.

Baking …

… even assisting the humans with their baking activities

Shopping …

… buying Xmas trees.

The dolls hardly had time to listen to and watch the shows taking place all around Dollietown.

Of course there were also Carol singers.

And the Cat Choir was there, too.

For those who already had done all the preparations, the Xmas Circus was the right place to go to.

You could also buy sweets there to enjoy during the show.

Wow … Christmas mail …what a surprise.

It’s Christmas time in Dollietown

I quite enjoy going to Xmas markets – the atmosphere is always so special. The Xmas market in Dollietown is a huge event and the dolls are having a lot of fun. The best thing is – the weather is always right for a Xmas market. It always snows in December.

What can you do there?

There are lots of stands with food and drinks and the girls are really enjoying their time.

Sweets are very important.

You can ride in a coach or sleigh. ..

…go ice skating …

… or ride on a Merry-go-round.

And of course you can buy souvenirs.

You can meet Santa Claus and his helpers.

or Xmas elves.

And of yourse you should wear an ugly Xmas sweater.

Happy Halloween

It’s that time of the year again when you can see all kinds of creatures in Dollietown.

It’s Clawdia Wolf for the DBC – reporting from the biggest Halloween Party.

Mrs Bloodgood – the Headteacher is welcoming everyone to the yearly Casta Fierce concert. As always it’s sold out.

Casta and the Spells are a great attraction – but look carefully! You will not see any ghouls around, only humans, as the ghouls are afraid she would turn them into animals with her famous song „Witching Hours“.

Of course there are other attractions, too.

There is a dancefloor and live music. Ghoulish songs interpreted by Katty Noir.

A magical show performed by Vicky Witch.

You can have your picture taken in your Halloween outfit. Here are some of the best.

As soon as it got dark the kids went Trick or Treating – some even ventured into the human world.

Some girls didn’t want a full Halloween outfit – but at least they put on seasonal T-Shirts.

And the ghouls …

they are quite comfortable in their homes. It’s so quiet when the humans are out partying at Halloween.

Some even think they can fly …. Happy Halloween.

Oh … and look who arrived in Dollietown just in time for Halloween.

Harley’s Little Black Holiday Book – Ireland (Part 3)

Dear diary – let me tell you about the last part of my holiday.

On Monday Mommy had a terrible idea – Let’s go to the Aran Islands… by ferry – she said.

So we did that. Equiped for a long day, with rain jackets and some food and drinks. At first everything was OK. It took us 1,5 hours by ferry to Inis Mór, the biggest of the three islands. The sea was quite rough and towards the end, Mommy didn’t feel very well, like many other people on board. She could see now, that it had been a bad idea.

But on the island everything was OK again. Lots of fresh air and wind. We drove around in a mini bus, but also walked quite a bit.

We walked up to the fort and then visited the seven churches.

The way back to Galway took 2,5 hours by ferry. The sea was very rough and everyone was very sick. Wondy was sick, too, inside our doll bag. Mommy had wanted to see the famous Cliffs of Moher, but when we stopped there, she had no power to take me out of the bag, so I had to stay inside and got no picture in front of the Cliffs.

We all felt ill the rest of the day ….

On Tuesday we went back to Dublin. We had no breakfast. Mommy was still ill.

We had a short stop in Tullamore, but didn’t have much time there.

In the late afternoon we were back in Dublin. Handed over our rental car and went to our hotel where we spent the last night.

On the last day we started with breakfast … finally… I was starving. As you can see it was only a bagel because our humans still could not eat much ( I think Mommy will not have a trip on a ferry in the near future).

We walked about Dublin … Saw a few statues…

… they are great for climbing …

… passed the Whisky Museum, but didn’t go inside. I was a little worried that Wondy would like to have drink again, get drunk and start singing (embarassing!!!) .

Then we passed the Bank of Ireland (I could do with some extra cash – the holiday was expensive – But how to get in?)

Could it be that easy?

We spend the rest of the day in parks – St. Stephen’s Green (which was quite crowded) and Iveagh Park. (which was very quiet)

We had fun in a Labyrinth which gave me Harry Potter vibes.

But in the middle there was no portkey only a sundial.

Wondy liked the rose garden.

In the late afternoon we went to the airport by taxi and flew home. We arrived home very late at night and were tired the whole of the next day. But we had enough energy to unpack the souvenirs.

On Friday Mommy said, that both Wondy and I had to take a bath as we were quite dirty.

Next weekend I will give a party for my DCSuperhero friends. I have to order fish and chips, beer and whisky and then I will tell them about our adventures and show them all the nice pictures of Ireland.
